The Goldfields Ghana Foundation has provided an update on the progress of the Tarkwa and Aboso Stadium, which is set to become the new home ground for Medeama Sporting Club.

Reportedly, a total of $13 million has been invested in the construction of this new stadium.

This project, with a 10,400-seater capacity, is being led by the mining company to support the Ghana Premier League champions as they advance to the group stage of the CAF Champions League.

In recent developments, Medeama received a letter earlier this month from Goldfields Ghana, signaling the termination of their sponsorship agreement.
